The Inner Arts
Master the body · Still the mind · Awaken the spirit
Martial arts and spiritual practice, trained as one path. The way of the warrior and the way of the sage – brought together for modern times.

The Warrior’s Path Goes Inward
Technique alone is not mastery.
The masters of old trained the body, the breath, the mind and the spirit together – until there was no separation between them. Their power did not come from muscle. It came from within.
The Inner Arts brings that complete path to you: the martial skill of the warrior and the inner practice of the sage, in one training.
Martial Skill
Natural, efficient movement. Timing, distance and flow. Awareness under pressure. The body trained as a living weapon – and a living instrument.
Inner Power
Breath, energy and centering. Stillness in motion. The internal strength the old masters guarded, cultivated through daily practice.
Spiritual Practice
Meditation, mindfulness and the esoteric arts of the warrior traditions. Opening the inner gate to clarity, purpose and peace.

Doshi Richard Van Donk

- Inheriting Grandmaster of DeCuerdas Eskrima from the late Grandmaster Gilbert Tenio
- Headmaster of the International Bujinkan Dojo Association and founder of Bushindo University

His search for the inner arts took him to sacred sites and master teachers around the world – from the Mikkyo temples of Japan to the yogis of the Himalayan tradition. The Inner Arts brings that lifetime of training together into one path.
